Manastones/Soulstones

Manastones go in weapons and armor, soulstones in accessories. They are otherwise the same item, with identical roll tables and costs. Each row rolls a random stat, then a random quality for that stat. Engraved stats are lost when you transfer gear.

Abyssal stones add PvP stats and slightly reduce the chance of PvE ones; everything else about them is the same. The tier decides how much each stat gives, and how often you get the top result.

You get one stat per row, and every row is rolled on its own. A four-row weapon produces four results from a single engrave, and the same stat can land more than once. The 1 of 9 above means each row has a chance at one of nine stats (Core stats, below). Higher tier stones or Abyssal variations add more options to the pool.

* Superior stones reduce the chance to the lower figure.

Each row is decided in two steps:

  1. Which stat it lands on. The two Chance to roll columns are the odds per stat, and each column adds up to 100%.
  2. How good the roll is: Basic, Superior or Ultimate. Those are the three numbers in every value cell, in that order.

Here is an example using a Superior Manastone.

Step 1: the game picks a stat. It reads down that stone’s Chance to roll column (1 of 14 possible stats), where Attack sits at 10%:

Stat Chance
Attack 10%
Critical Hit 10%
Damage Boost 0.5%
Defense 10%
HP 13.75%
…and 9 more

Say it lands on Attack.

Step 2: the game picks a quality. A separate roll, 50/35/15 on this stone. Attack’s three numbers in the table above are 3 / 5 / 10, so those are the three values it can possibly be worth:

Quality Odds You get Row color
Basic 50% Attack +3 green
Superior 35% Attack +5 blue
Ultimate 15% Attack +10 gold

Say it lands on Basic.

Result: that row now reads Attack +3 and shows as a green row. The odds of landing exactly that come to 10% × 50% = 5%.
